Around 17 students along with Mrs Gopalkrishnan –the Co-ordinator visited VPMS. They stayed with our students families for two days . They also attended regular school and interacted with our students and teachers. Dr Ajay Joshi was invited to talk on India and Indian culture.Mr Umashankar Devadhe Co-ordinated the Student Exchange Programme.

Exchange of correspondence between the students of VPMS and those of College St. Augustin de Morlaix- France.

The students of VPMS are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to participate in an Exchange Programme with College de St. Augustin de Morlaix- a secondary school in the north of France.

This enables the students of our school- who begin studying French from Class VI to improve their vocabulary and also to hone their writing skills in French. It also gives them a glimpse into the lives of their counterparts in France.

The Exchange Programme is now into its 3rd year. The students form groups and send letters and pictures via the school email account to their counterparts in College St. Augustin de Morlaix. They ask each other questions about student life, their families, likes and dislikes and hobbies.

This year, the exchange of correspondence was initiated with the students of Class VIII to ensure that the same group of students will continue the exchange of letters in Class IX as well. This will help to maintain a certain continuity and keep up the tempo in spite of examinations and Summer/Winter Breaks on both sides.

We look forward to a fruitful and enjoyable exchange between the two schools in the years to come as well.
